I think some criticism is warranted, he’s been off the pace. What’s concerning is he’s known as a good defender but he’s had some poor misses for us.

Connor Watson is probably the 2nd worst player ever. He was rubbish when he was here at every position he played, rubbish at the Knights, and now probably even worse because he’s touching the ball every tackle

But so many on here say he’s an absolute gun Lock & just not getting used right. I’d pick Hutch or even the 70kg Walker at Lock before playing Watson as I reckon he would even be an ordinary reserve grader. He has none of this explosive spark we hear off,has no passing game,can’t break tackles,does nothing in my eyes. We need a massive clean out.

Watson does not fit into a team that wants to play structured footy IMO.

He is a explosive off the hinge player who will be excellent for a lower placed team that doesn't have the structures in place.....or have we now become that lower placed team?

I fail to see this explosiveness,never seen him make a line break or side step anyone. And unfortunately yes we are that bottom 8 team now.

Apart from Manu, Toupanoua & Suaalli who were great everyone else is copping their fair share.

No one player losses a game of footy. Obviously it's a team game. But has either Naiqama or Momorovski had a good game this season?

If we're going to single momirovski out for his missed tackle, how about SST's poor marker play (combined with Nat Butcher's missed tackle) that allowed the green vomit nudist to score their first try? Most of the Roosters were below par today.

Crucial moments in a game matter...he didn't nail his Crucial Moment which has been happening a lot all year. He also could have avoided being pushed into touch earlier.

Was this signing some sort of romantic NYC 2016 Roosters fantasy of some sort ?

Does the club really think that by gathering majority of the under 20s players now in 2022, this move would prove to be some sort of similar tactic and masterstroke just how the Panthers have a side full of players that have played together from junior teams ?


I just don't get the justification of Paul's signing. Even calling it "mediocre at best" seems like a stretch. He's been absolutely gun shy since arriving and has cost us arguably a few games by allowing so many tries past him/in.


Can we give him away to the Dolphins or send him to the UK please because ... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !
