No JWH, reckon Baker will step up fine, time to great interchange, all will be fine, especially without Wighton, who is suburb form for the Raiders.

Fafita’s 250 odd metres every time he runs out for Norths doesn’t impress you?

When Jared doesn't play, SST often plays a blinder. I'm clinging to that hope.

I can't see us winning this one.

We’ll I’m heading out to watch this one with my 3 daughters, 2 of their partners, my niece & her partner, her partners son & my nephew. Weather forecast has improved. Will still be cold, but rain is expected to be less and most likely coming after the game now.

Anyone else going to brave GIO Stadium?

no point crying over spilt milk - we've got the rest of the season and a finals series to show what we've got

Not really. Yet to see much when he's wearing a Roosters jumper, which is more important to me.

Difficult with his limited games and limited minutes when he gets a game. He’s killing it in reserves.

Bit of a blessing to have a few out with injuries and rep selections. We really have to start seeing if these young cubs have the goods to take over from our older legends who are leaving soon and with Robbo showing reluctance to only giving them more than limited minutes off the bench this will force his hand to a degree.

Genuine first graders are consistent. It will take more than one game to determine their future potential.

Wighton, Froggie, Pappa-Lee-Hee and Clock's Dad are all out. Should be pretty fair in terms of outages IMO.

I reckon I'll be watching it from my lounge room but will weigh it up tonight.

Today's been hectic as there's a million events for the Vietnamese community (school, storytime at the library & a food/music thing tonight). We're also moving houses (gradually as the renovations are nearly done) so I'm pretty buggered.

Doubt my wife and son wanna go, so it's tempting to just buy a 4-pack of craft beers from the Page bottle shop (they have a surprisingly good range), put my feet up and watch the game in comfort. That said the energy of the game usually gives me a massive boost and I don't get to see much live footy so it's tempting to grab a ticket.

Maybe worth making a Canberra meet-up thread on here? At half-time or something a few of us could grab a beer, walk over to a landmark (e.g. under the posts) and say g'day.

Very true 13 but I want to see how some of these blokes go for extended periods and how they handle pressure when they are gassed in the middle. Which one will take that tough run and hang on when we are getting belted and get a quick play the ball or make it to marker for a 2nd effort after making a tackle and not leaving a hole for a quick dummy half to exploit. These things are hard to assess off 10 minute cameos when the opposition are tired and you are fresh. It will be a big test against Tapine who is in terrific form and Horsbraugh who can offload.

With Teddy involved in most of our tries, who'll be scoring the points necessary for us to win?

As expected, JWH out, Baker will start and DSF added to the bench.

I am expecting Tom Carr to play. Still in the 19 and not playing for the Bears. B Smith to centre, Kev drops out...Carr is a specialist winger and takes the high ball ok, better than Smith.
