Because we are expected to have winning seasons due to having one of the best coaches & team lists in the NRL & picked by so called experts to go all the way.

This hot & cold season is frustrating after being told the chooks will eventually come good. Losing to Penrith & Storm is no embarrassment but not being able to beat a big contender for 2yrs now is not good enough. Losses to some of the very average teams is not Rooster like & suprises everyone & is always a talking point. You can't paper over shock losses.

As Big Jack Gibson said "Never bet on anything that Eats" -Penrith and Storm were always going to be the ones to beat not that they are unbeatable as Parramatta have beaten them both.

The main issue with the Roosters is a lack of a 80 minute game no matter who they put on the field. It is impossible to be at your best week in week out but you to have a level of game that you can put into play week in week out though.

Certainly they need to improve on the basics of the game and also improve discipline and reduce errors - things they can control

Like an orgasm, when your team wins the brain releases massive amounts of oxytocin and dopamine. It's an artificial high that makes you forget the bad things. That's why make-up sex is so lauded.

mate go back and check the betting market at the start of the season.
Roosters and Riff were equal favourites

The market now reflects both sides chances honestly.

              penrith 2.60
              roosters 12.0

both sides were 4.0 at the start of the season.

The equal favouritism would have been given quite some consideration
The potential of each roster and the reputation of the coach inherent in the decision making process.

As I’ve said previously, you are basing your opinions on the sides current performances not on the teams reputation and potential that was measured at the start of the season.

                On paper we look good.
                Origin players and Internationals aside,
Suali “ the next big thing”.
A pack with enough first grade to make a real impact on paper this season.
Momorovki was outstanding at Penrith and has been an abject failure at Bondi.

On paper we should not be where we are and quite frankly with little to look forward towards.

isnt it the same old shit? we have had I think 6 players out with long term injuries(that saying more than a week etc)..we were starting to settlle a bit but along came state of origin.
                  Robbo has to take ownership.
He screwed up the previous years year ..for 1 when they reset the comp and shortened it..we had to catch up with top as we were nil when the comp reset. The blokes busted their ass in defense to get into the top4 ..He did not adjust too well to the 6again crap.
Last year was more of the same.
This year this team was not prepared to start on fire ...probably lost 4 games that we should not have if we were ready to go.
He shouldve showed some faith in the blokes that carried the side through last year and brang on the busted brigade through Norths..its very telling now.
Team looked really lethargic in several games
I mean who loses to the Bulldogs???? only farken us ..how embarrassing.
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

                    LOL.....what a load of shiit.

You come on here and have a whinge the night we lose to the Panthers and say we have a better team than them on paper.

We had Suaalii, Momo, Walker, Ebutch, Baker, Watson, May and Hutch in the team that night compared to an injury free Panthers team.

Now you want to go and compare odds at the start of the year to justify yourself. Here's another LOL.

The bookies spend more time and money researching the potential of teams than anyone else.

                      fact.

it’s like me framing a market on the mental capabilities of people such as yourself
