Good to hear he is prepared to put up a fight and not just shop himself around. That sort of attitude will only add to his value even if he ends up leaving.

He will make so much difference to our title bid this year if he can stay fit n helsy.

Respect him wanting to fight for a starting spot, but think the writing is on the wall. Cheese didn't sign with us to play 13 or off the bench, he signed to play at hooker. Same goes with Watson, he didn't sign to play reserve grade, he signed to be our utility off the bench. With that in mind, we definitely won't be running with Sammy/Watson both on the bench next season. Agree with the above that he ends up a Dolphin, could also make home at St George or a Parramatta. Regardless, hopefully we get the best version of Sammy this season with him probably looking to impress future suitors.

I'd keep verills and cheese and let Watson go. Not knocking anyone's ability, I just have the other two above him.

Just my thoughts, but I have a sinking feeling about Sam. Big fan.
