Sammy will be a great kicker.

3 things lot people don’t understand or know about Sam yet, but Robbo touched on them both in last presser.

    1. Pound for pound (with the ball or in a wrestle) he would be amongst strongest in comp. His try yesterday to get that ball down amongst others he’s scored is good evidence of this, coupled with his strength and his ability to twist/turn/manipulate himself and others physically.

    2. He was a massive chooks fan frowning up. His fav chook at the time i had bit to do with him was James Maloney.

    3. He’s a footy nerd and just loves his footy. Robbo quoted this directly and things he does and how well he gets the game compared to ‘athletes’ who play footy does and will set him further and further apart.

My comment is, we love his game now but wait until the NRL meets 23 year old Sammy.

As with most things in life, confidence is a wonderful thing to have, and goal kicking is no different.
Walker’s kick last week was a great shot in the arm and a real springboard for the rest of the season!

IMO he just had a shocker during the first couple of rounds, which can become self-fulfilling if you don't address it. He seems to have addressed it now and by doing so, played himself into form.

Glad he has. However, I have NFI what I'm gonna do when he's replicating all this form for QLD.
practising a lot through the week . sounds obvious but it's the only way , not some magic confidence boost from a crucial kick. Can't see confidence being Walker's issue anyway, twice yesterday he tried to organise the play, Keary shood him away, and both 5th tackle options were duds. I know it's not gonna happen and what do I know, but gee I'd love to see just one game with keary back in his zone, and walker at 7

Huge priority to lock him up long term and Joseph.

I was so happy to see Walker's kicking display on Sunday. Excellent effort from the young man.
