First win of the day -Sydney Roosters Jersey Flegg 40-10 winners vs Canberra Raider - Half time 28-10

Good to see Hugo Savala back in the side - a player on the rise- Zac Montgomery another player on the rise a hatrick - Ruan Sims would be over the moon with a prop scoring 3 tries in the same game

        Match details below

Gives us the run down King.
Where did the Chooks get him from?
          Position?
          Rep Honours?
          Age?
          School?

He has come through the Junior Reps at the Roosters - Development squads/ Harold Matthews Cup/SG ball and now Jersey Flegg

Was the half in SG Ball last year with Sandon Smith playing 5/8

Is a half mainly but can play 5/8 and a very good goal kicker

Hugo played in the same School rep Rugby Teams as the Volkster - NSW Waratahs Generation Blue squads

            Age 19 or so

            Scotts College

His Older Brother Charles also played Junior reps for the Roosters(Harold Matthews/SG Ball Jersey Flegg) - now playing Rugby in Scotland

                Your a gem King.
Scotts college, surely he would be there on a scholarship so is he originally from Western Sydney or NZ?

Born in Sydney but not sure where- would qualify as a local junior though

Hugo was in the Scotts First 15 on their tour of New Zealand in 2020 - Joshua Wong was also in that team another player with promise in the SG ball side - Lock Forward

North Sydney Bears despite their usual early Hibernation claim a 28-20 win vs Canberra Raiders to maintain top spot on the NSW Cup Ladder

Just thought I’d say a little bout the knock on game. Didn’t watch the full game, only snippets, but was very heavily impressed about VK running out of our own half. Thought I was very Ferguson-esque. Was a play late in the game where he carried 3/4 guys post contact about 7-8 metres. Don’t know how Keighran isn’t getting into the team over Naiqama tho. Move JS to wing, Keighran too good to be a reserve grader

Sandon Smith is type of half that Robbo likes - the organising type ones with a good kicking game and solid defence - Not sure of his contract status as he was to play Jersey Flegg - By playing him in the trials it showed their high opinion of him one suggests.

Came through the Central Coast Roosters side of the Juniors/Pathways into the Sydney Roosters one

Like to see VK get some clean ball out wide as he has wheels as they say.
