Same with Ryles. I remember after he finished in 2010, he was nothing but effusive in his praise for the Roosters as a club.

"People talk about it being this and that, but let me tell you, it was more of a family club than any other I'd been at."

No wonder he was happy to come back. And of course, Trent was defensive coach that year under Brian Smith, so there was already a connection.
