  • Did last monday night's win have an adverse affect on our team?

Did it go to our heads, the news and stories of last minute comebacks, the media rounds done by the players talking about not giving up ect ect.

Was todays loss the price we paid for this media attention for a team with so many young players?

Mate if that was the case then the loss would be alot easier to handle.

Unfortunately the real reason is our lack of attack from 1 to 7,with the main issue being 6 and 7!
We had a few oppurtunities today but failed to take advantage due to the lack of strike in our backline,we dont have a player who can influence a game.

I think our main issue is Braith!
I wont blame Pearce as i know when he gets a running 5/8th next to him (ala Carney in 2010)he will excel, but sadly that wont be happening this year.

Our Club has decided to stick with Anasta this year and sadly i feel we will pay the price..

No Muzz, I don't think so. That was souffs afterall. Todays game, the pamfers were good in defence with assistance from extended hold downs. Their three tries came from our own mistakes. As has been the case for a while, there were glimpses of something good. We lack a player with a sharp football brain, or Smith doesn't want the players to try anything other than his same, lame game plan.

Nope ,the only adverse thing to affect the team was Braith at 6.

I saw nothing today that was in anyway .....good. Embarrassing today. We have no strike power, we can't score tries. Sure we scored 2 quick tries in the last 5 mins to win that game against the filth, but souths turned off last week. Penrith were on today and we were out classed.

We have played 157min of rubbish football this yr. didnt expect much else though this yr so have learnt to be at peace with fighting for the spoon. is it coincidence that we score 0points in the only match braith has played for us?

At least Mortimer is playing for his livelihood. Anasta is playing for his superannuation.

I used to stick up for the Captain, but he is a dead-set liability. A few good spiral passes out to the left in the early stages just doesn't cut it when you get flogged by a depleted team.
