Have not seen this ANYWHERE,papers included!

A bigTHUMBS UP to the Roosters on a function they donated big $ to on Friday Night. It was the N.S.W Police Legacy Ball ( the organisation looks after spouses and children of Deceased Police Officers, there are now 6 more after the events in Tamworth last week) Each year they take a number of these kids on a treck of the Kokoda Trail.......another story!

Anyway the Roosters had their emblem on all the letterheads etc and donated big $ as well as donating 1/ a function to this years State of Origin,cruise,feed etc etc, went for a couple of Thou. 2/ 4 reserve seats to a roosters home game for a family of 4.
3/ a framed and signed 2012 Jersey with a certificate of Authenticity plus half a dozen signed Roosters caps.

The night raised over 30$K.

I am no way affliated with organising this night, i was just in Attendance , and from the outside looking in, it looks like the Roosters played a big part in raising a few $ for a worthwile charity, as did other organisations.....BUT this is a Roosters Forum ! WELL DONE CHOOKS!
