Just got home from a family trip to gosford to watch some Monster trucks and motocross, now on the O.P Bundaberg contemplating if I'll even watch the replay...

The full replay certainly won't be on the Chooks Website thankfully. Dreadful performance by all 17 - Coaching staff can't make excuses that they were underdone etc and should share the blame for the loss. A Simple Basic game played was required such as the one the Knights had.

Same basic fundamental errors not addressed - set completions/errors/penalties conceded/missed tackles- Underdone or not your an NRL player and should be able to do the basics at least for the period of time you are on the field for.

Crazy to think that players such as Keary, JWH and hutch have all since come out and mention being underdone and having not played a regular game together.

Granted most also stated that it was no excuse, yet it was brought up regardless.

Maybe I'm being harsh, but I don't really like the underdone excuses. Weren't they working on their combos during the off season? Aren't they professionals who should be prepared? IMO the basics not being executed properly were the biggest reason for the loss.

Agree. Every team is in the same boat going into Round 1. Why were we 'underdone'? Who is responsible?
