Disappointing result. It feels like our team is not as strong as last year, certainly appeared to be spotting some size and strength to the Titans. Need some more creativity in the halves too. Sergis was wasted today. Positive again was some very gritty defence and the fact we only lost by 6 after a noticeable differential.in close to line scoring opportunities.

Stats - lots to work on - ball control/set completions/defence - need to be better with and without the ball - can't win games with 41% possession and 62% set completions as this transfers into other parts of their game - errors/missed tackles/penalties conceded.

Corban Baxter should be back next week - not sure if she will play fullback or 5/8 - they lost a lot of experience from last years squad though so a learning curve for many that are playing NRLW for the first time or with limited NRL experience.

They have a player point system in the NRLW

Under a marquee and points cap system, players across the game have been allocated into eight different categories.

A player's highest level of representation will be counted to the overall figure only.

The maximum number of points a club can accrue is 130 per squad of 24 players.

With 3 new teams entering the comp the top players were contracted by the league and then allocated to NRLW clubs.- Parramatta , Newcastle and Gold Coast in particular.

Why the Roosters lost a lot of their main players from the 2020 squad to Parramatta/ Newcastle and even Brisbane.were allocated 2 Roosters players.

The other existing teams from 2020 - St George/and in particular Brisbane didn't have such a high turnover of players for the 2022 Season

The Roosters lost 11 players from the 2020 squad and 7 of them were in the starting 17 week in week out in 2020- Replaced mainly with players from the Women's NSW Cup Central Coast Roosters side and a couple from the 2021 under 19's Tarsha Gale Cup side.

11 of this years 24 player squad are from the Women's NSW Cup Central Coast Roosters team.

As someone pointed out, they are really lacking size.
The titans adapted to the wet heavy track, easts tried to play dry weather footy. Handling errors are murdering then.

Dont recall even seeing one offload. No go forward, just hit up hit up hit up ..and even then we still managed to constantly lose the ball. The dummy half even had the ball stripped by the marker before she could pass it ...it was like what you'd see in an u7 match. We have a couple of good outside backs, but there is no platform being layed for them to do anything. Based on what ive seen so far, we're odds on for the spoon unless the coach can miraculously turn things around !

Interesting with the kick stats... commentators on the radio kept saying that the Titans were winning the kicking game by a lot.
