Trial games and the Indigenous game should count towards games missed due to being suspended. As after all you can be charged and suspended after those games.
It's a farcical situation when suspended players are allowed to play in pre-season trial games,Last edited by King Salvo; 02-23-2022, 07:10 PM.

not sure of official rules, but I’m sure players have had trials games included in part of their suspension, and I think the charity shield has also been included beforehand, I see no issue with it.
As 6 mentioned earlier, he will probably do something silly in rd 2, and be suspended for our game anyway.
Who remembers when Balmain flew Steve Roach to England to reduce his suspension so he could play in the 1988 Grand final vs Canterbury.
* Steve Roach (Balmain) - 1988
Went as far as to fly to England to be named for Warrington for the final two games of his four-match ban for a high shot on Chris Mortimer in the Tigers' fifth-spot playoff against Penrith. But the NSWRL blocked the matches from counting leaving Roach to listen to his side's loss to Canterbury on the radio from the other side of the world.Last edited by King Salvo; 02-23-2022, 07:25 PM.

I think Latrell will have an even bigger problem come Round 3. He will have to face JWH, SST and Colins who mind you were very furious on the sidelines when it happen last year...
Can someone clarify this for me?
Was he originally picked for the All Stars game? Cause Critchton's suspension last year was severed quicker because he was selected for Game 1 so therefore that match counted, but I was very sure Latrell was not selected for the All Stars game?

Finals games and the games at the end of the regular season are the biggest and most important games of the year, and we're letting bad foul play in those big end of season games that can take a star player out and influence the result get watered down by letting the offenders use a pre season made up rep game the following season count towards their suspensions? Farking ridiculous.

How incredibly stupid and weak to allow trials or all stars games to count. Watering down the penalty when you're trying to make the penalty a proper deterrent? The first thing you never do.
