  • Tedesco off season knee surgery update

    NRL Physio explanation

James Tedesco had a stem cell procedure late last year to address ongoing issues with his knee. Is dealing with meniscus/cartilage degeneration, had 10-12 weeks relatively off his feet & only resumed running in mid January. Had the same procedure performed on his knee 4 years ago

Didn't the galloping Greek Steve Georgallis play for 10 years without cartilage?

Isn't this that thing that him and Teddy were doing regularly with the idea it was like an 'oil change/service' for your legs to be done every few years?

Sounds experimental, but Teddy hasn't had any knee problems for 4 years (after having a bad history) so who knows. Also, he's running ridiculous metres on those legs (more than ever?) so hopefully it's working.

Wonder if Keary/Collins/B-Moz/Verrills/Rads had it done? Just hope we're not doing any hippie shyte with people's knees that's causing issues.

I would quite literally go postal and blow-up Redfern if Teddy went down with a farking ACL.

Redfern may blow itself up with the help of its new trainer.

Joey Manu had a knee procedure as well in the off-season and has only just come back to full training.- Bit of a delay with his rehab due to contracting Covid
