Smith can play dummy half , lock and prop though - If say Radley is suspended for 4 or so games I don't think Robbo would put Watson at lock for all these games - Smith to Lock and Verrills as Hooker would be the likely scenario. - Similar if Radley went down in a match - Smith to Lock and either Verrills or Watson to Dummy Half

Is there a reason why everybody seems to assume that Walker's jumped Keary in the pecking order?

Keary's an international half who was given the #7 jersey when Cronk left. Robbo made a big point about this being a promotion to a more senior leadership role.

I don't think Walker's gonna take a leadership role over Keary just because Keary did his ACL. If anything, I think it's possible we'll see Keary at 7 and Hutch at 6 early on while Walker works his way into the #6 jersey.

Not sure a player can dictate where they will play - be times where he could play at prop , backrow or lock though depending on the game, bench, injuries and suspensions etc.

Radley is of the same mold can play many positions but best at 13 an was very vocal about that!
no difference with smith! Best at 9 and most happy playing 9 but can play many positions!

Like latrell best at 3 but can play many etc etc

Every player is at there best when placed in there best position !Robbo will do the right thing as smith is still learning the hooker roll with the dally M hooker of the year i might add! The sky is the limit with smith!
From the podcast smith said this was his first year at hooker, can't believe that when he pulls off a dally M 2021 hooker in his actual first year starting hooker! He will be better at the Roosters playing full time 9 learning off friendy

Hutchinson had game time before 2021 an as the season went on walker was looking better, full preseason ahead an full team on the paddock Hutchinson will be the new lam looking elsewhere for a permanent roll! Walker is the future and keary is the leader
