  • Cyril Says...........SKD

Given that for the past two years Easts have had trouble beating the top sides...ie Storm,Panthers and the Rabbits...something has to change with tactics....

injuries cant be continually trotted out as to to why we continue to lose to top tier teams...all teams have injuries..i.........ts a fact of life for all NRL teams

the Solution .......the coaching brains trust might consider trying SKD....SOMETHING KINDA DIFFERENT

Yeah....nah. Not smart buying old outside backs (Morris boys being the exception).

SKD at his best was absolutely brilliant, at his worst he was no better than many U14s you'd find at Umina oval of a weekend.

His form across the final two seasons at the Knights was forgettable. He has been average-ish for Hull.

      No.

      Time to move on.

I suggest using 1 marker again.
What a Master stroke from super coach Chris Anderson , ended his career

I think the one marker was Luke Ricketson's idea though?.

I am an advocate for the rotating/non designated dummy half plus different kickoff's - Short ones/Grubbers/Mick Cronin style ones and drilling the ball towards the sideline - Can't fathom how teams conceding try after try after try kick off basically the same way time and time again.

Also the cross field kick and the run around - seen the run around a few times when watching the WA and NT NRL games on SBS NITV and how it can confuse the defence- maybe bring the wall back too

Yes a Big Jack Gibson innovation - mmm not sure why though ?

                    Possibilities
                    • Give your team a break
                    • Provides Extra time to work out attacking plans and moves for the set
                    • Annoy the opposition
                    • Give the goal kicker some practice for when they are required to attempt penalty and conversion goal kicks
                    • Annoy the Ref and Linies and the League
                    • No Reason at all

Short of using Jessica Peris as a tackle dummy, the era of Skidsy is over. Like Gelignite Jack Elsegood before him, he had my love but it was tough love.

Yep I respect the dude and he had a great career with us but I doubt he can offer anything more than B-Moz.

Side note, that was some evil shyte that Jessica pulled on him. There's a special place in hell for women like that who abuse gender stereotypes and play the victim like that (while snorting coke, partying, beating up their man and whinging about how their athletics 'career' has gone to shyte) IMO

We could soak both sidelines overnight at the SCG to slow down the fastest wingers in the game.
An old ploy used against Martin Offiah.

What about deflated or over inflated footballs - I am sure they still need to be pumped up even nowadays- Although I assume the NRL provide the footballs for any games though and not the Clubs whose home ground it is.
