So I been seeing these clubs/players announcing signing at another club for 2023 the past couple of days …it strikes me as weird , why would you tell your supporter base you buggering off to another club a season out from when your doing it …do you wanna get booed for a year ?…I guess loyalty is dead

I have a sneaky feeling it’s Suuali.. Hasn’t taken his PO as of yet so can negotiate for next season. He has a very close mate in Will Penisini.. they’ve both mentioned they want to play together at some stage of their careers but hopefully I’m wrong and Joseph follows Manu and re-signs

I would say if they're chasing him for 2023 and he in fact does go, that would be such a terrible decision on his part (non-bias opinion). He's barely had the time to develop at the Roosters, he would be going there expecting to learn and grow which probably isn't the best environment to do so (in comparison to the Roosters). But he's working close to SBW, so highly doubt he would make such decisions haha

Has to be a better way of doing this - end of season for players off contract the next season - Clubs have say up to August 31 to re-sign players - for players not re-signed/electing to test the market a list of these players goes to all clubs who can EOI (Express an Interest) in signing that player- Clubs can still re-sign their players coming of contract- the EOI list is then updated.

Once the season is finished -the day after GF clubs then can officially negotiate with off contract players. Players now have 8 to 10 weeks off at the end of the season and surely this is enough time and the period for contract negotiations to occur.

Wonder how long before another attempt of an internal/external draft occurs
