If he signs for next year, I'll welcome him with open arms but I'm not going waste another moment worrying about his career decisions until I see him in a Roosters jersey.
    Same here.
I would welcome him with open arms, but not for a huge amount that sees us lose others to accommodate him.
    Rads and Smith ................ jeez..........................

The pair would certainly put the fear into the opposition - our own Bash Brothers!!

          Exactly.

Imagine Teddy, Walker and Keary operating off the back of these 2 in the middle?

          WOW.

Look I’m not saying this is cement news and I have the feeling Smith wants to live close to family in QLD that have recently moved from NZ but I was speaking today to a mate who I do business with and is very close to Bulldogs boss Khoury. He was telling me he said to Khoury “ we need a gun hooker why aren’t we chasing Brandon Smith?” Khoury laughed and said “ Easts have him.. no one else is a chance”
let’s hope that is the case, He would be HUGE for us!

I still think Melbourne are a strong chance to keep him. Don't write off Craig Bellamy tucking him back into bed and from what i have read, they are around $730k so not to far away from the $800 to $850k mark being reported and they are a finals team year in and year out which is what drives him also!!

Melbourne are no chance he would’ve re-signed there by now and not be seen playing golf with our boys plus he wants to play hooker and he won’t be doing that in Melbourne

If we do sign Smith for 2023. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sam Verrills end up at Parramatta. I think that would be sad to lose one of our few juniors. Oh well it’s a business isn’t it. Nature of the beast. Forget about the fact that Sam is a clean kid who loves our club and the fact that Smith is a drug user who enjoys the occasional snort.

I think Sam might be a Manly junior?

Yes he is. His Dad is a massive Manly fan but obviously supports us cause of Sam. They are from Northern Beaches.

Who's going to win you a comp? Like you said, it's nothing personal just business. It's exactly why I never have a name put on any jersey I buy.

Cheese was enjoying himself at the Ivy nightclub last night.

Asked him when he's signing with us but he just laughed it off
