    In 2023:

Smith and Radley start the game.

Verrills and Watson on the bench.
Rep footy and injuries covered. Marschke to the bears and perhaps called up.

How will living in Sydney work for him as his parents are in Brisbane and there are a lot of distractions in Sydney not withstanding the Social Media/General Media attention which he would not face down in Melbourne. Only die hard Storm fans would know who he was if they seen him anywhere in Melbourne.

I wouldn't sign him myself as the Chooks do have depth in this role - Verrills/Watson then Marschke/Lussick as well - Develop internally
If he’s serious about his business ventures then Sydney is the place to be. Simple as that.

Kemp was based out in QLD when he started up but has since moved down to Sydney.

We just had a quick chat (unfortunately I was in a hurry so didn't have that much time to listen). Apparently it went well.

Robbo discussed a business opportunity that's opened up in France, and how Smith would fit in. Details are private but all the ex-Roosters boys are onto it. Pearcy was there to show him his Dogecoin paper wallet, to prove that the $$$ was real (and you don't need to be smart or well behaved to take advantage of it).

On parting, Robbo handed Smith a brown bag full of 'French wines', with apologies that Nicky P couldn't be there. Done deal I'd say.

His manager apparently told the media today that he hasn’t even arrived in Sydney yet.

If we sign Smith, there is no way Verrills will still be here in 2023

This is all becoming a bit much now, his wine and dine and parading around the league like a rock star is starting to annoy me, if this was for 2022 I’d be pretty pumped, but with the bad luck we’ve had recently, he will probably snap his ACL in the finals of 2022 and won’t be available til 2024.

2.Yes he'd definitely be better known in Sydney... but same with Brisbane.

                        3. He's leaving Melbourne because they've chosen Golden Boy Grant as their long-term #9. There is no #9 jersey for him at Melbourne, so staying would mean a pay cut + either a #14 jersey or a position in the back row. Neither are great options for a Dally M hooker (who IMO is much better than Harry Grant - it'd shyte me if I were Smith and they did that to me based on speculation about a kid's possible future talent).

How do you think the Storms like it? He got caught up in a scandal and now this. I reckon he’s a chance to play elsewhere in 2022.
                              ..it’ll be interesting to see
