Will be good for his development before heading off to France, He should learn a fair bit off Sammy Walker on how to play halfback.

        Can't hurt.

I am personally happy to help him.

And it shows other players deciding which club to join how much respect you get at the Roosters.

          Nice gesture.

Just keep him away from Walker.

There’s more to this from what I understand. Don’t be surprised to see Mitch pull the pin on France and take up a two year deal with us. Trent is keen for him to hang around and mentor the young uns on the finer points of responsible off field behaviour, tasteful body art, and effective 5th tackle options.

He had his faults Junior but he is a true Roosters legend. Nice bloke to boot - no ego about him. Always had time to talk to the fans.

he gets all this hate. yep he was dumb as a sack full of hammers , did silly NOT BAD shit on the drink lile me which is why i always identify with him. yep he was terrible at repeat sets and clutch when the game was tight .

but great running half, great d in his prime, great team mate, big kick, not lazy , and he loved the roosters, that kissing of the knights badge im sure was him cinvincing himself of his love of the knights , which we all know he never ever did.

a roosters legend in my eyes , dont care what others think. trent and nick still love him.
