    NU OPPORTUNITY FOR UNLUCKY BROWN

Also returning from the UK is Fa’amanu Brown who, as Foxsports.com.au understands, has signed a train and trial deal with the Roosters.

The 26-year-old made his NRL debut for the Sharks in 2014 and went on to play a total of 24 games over four seasons with the club.

He joined the Bulldogs in 2018 and played 12 NRL games before heading overseas.

Brown had a horror run with injuries during his time in the NRL and had three operations in two years but is now coming off a much happier and injury-free season with the Featherstone Rovers.

I don't understand this, but I guess it will be similar to Brad Abbeys deal where he won't see 1st grade until we are down to only 17 players.....

Just watched his highlights reel, kicks goals, field goals, 40/20s, plus plays half, hooker, centre and fullback. Plenty of talent so a great cover option.

When you look at last year with all the injuries we had, most guys who stepped up into the top squad looked like world beaters due to the systems and coaching Robbo has in place at the Club!

So based on that alone I have no issue with the signings of Brown and Naquima!

I wouldnt imagine he will be in the top 17.
I remember him at the Dogs as a 5/8 so he's competing with Lam, Hutch & Keighran for Kearys spot if or when he gets injured..

Is this signing a pre curser/response to Lam linking with a new club?

Has looked a decent player at times. Still young and very little downside given the price tag.
