Thomas was on 1 grand a week and an additional 3 grand for each NRL game played contract for 2021 - If what i posted is correct there would be only 2 spots remaining if they do fill the 30 player roster that is.

In 2021 the Chooks only had 28 NRL players contracted as they left a spot open for the All Black player and possible for Cordners like for like rep salary cap relief - not sure what happened with that though (350k) maybe because he retired they couldn't use it?

More than likely would be on an extended bench contract- Robbo was saying his size was a disadvantage for a prop role - 182 cm and 104 kg's - but you never know as Paul Gallon was 180 cm and 122 kg's and did all right for his lack of size height wise one has to say

“He’s a good man, everyone loves him,” Robinson said, “He’s actually a really skilful player but he was always a little bit small.

“He’s a player’s player. Always does his job and works really hard. He’s a real old school front-rower who you can always rely on.”

Development player, what is the criteria to be a development player?
Ben Marschke has played a few first grade games so you would think that he has developed.

The Development contract replaced the second tier contract and players on these contracts can earn up to 60k a season

Under a Development contract, players will train full-time with the NRL squad but are not permitted to make their NRL debut until after Round 10. i.e usually after June 30- This season though clubs could select any player after round 10 no matter what contract they were on.

Part time players signed to NSW cup contracts earn between 5 to 15k a season
