Well said, agree with all of that. So much experience lost..
Also congrats for been the 1st non troll in this thread and actually contribute something. This place needs more u and less trolls like Mickey lame and SK Gimp.
So if you get someone who agrees with you you get a congrats but if someone has a different view they're a troll.
You should be a mod.
Haha mate, I go back to the Wall days... just under a different name. We are built different.
Full faith to Robbo, of course. Inspired signings like Ferguson, the Morris brothers, Tetevano, Sammy Moa, Luke O'Donnell were just as important as the bigger contracts with Teddy, Keary, Crighton and Cronk and Robbo has managed that well.
I just look at our 2022 squad and feel like we need an injection of a handful of grizzled veterans coming from a winning culture. Plenty of strapping forwards in our stocks but most are unproven at this stage.
I would have applauded Fergo returning to provide some centre/wing depth and keep Smith, Ika and Suaalii on their toes, or bringing over someone like Tariq Sims to lead kids like Tupouniua, Whyte, Hau Tapuha, Atoni, Baker, Thomas and Egan Butcher.
I get the feeling that we are more about planning for the future rather than having a real shot at premiership glory in 2022.
Problem in 2023 though is the new team with an open check book so getting good talent will be more challenging. So i'd prefer to build up now,,
You trace all this back to PVL, and you expect a serious response.
I thought it was a joke too
There have been head knocks, high shots and concussions though league history...yet i can't recall many if any concussion retirements before.
Only since PVL's ridiculous notion that the games going to go broke because of it, now we have two retirements from concussion in the same yr. I don't usually believe in coincidences.

Since when have u offered a different view or idea to anyone? All u seem to do is complain, whinge or troll around...not just here but in most threads u enter.
I'm all for different opinions that offer some substance.

James Mcmanus taking the NRL to court and losing must have made them think they might not be so lucky next time...
BTW he retired because of repeated head knocks
