Not from the NRL. The winning team can choose to pay for additional rings to recognise members of their squad that contributed to the season but didn't play in the Grand Final. Nothing to see here.

Does anyone have access to the article in the Telegraph regarding this? Would be interesting to know the reasoning behind it. Has it ever happened before?

Surely the NRL cant reward a player who received a six week ban for foul play which destroyed Joey Manu's face, with a Premiership Ring. Has the narrative swung so much now that poor Latrelle has been so hard done by that he deserves a ring. Disgusting if this is coming from the NRL.
