  • It’s win/win for rooster fans

    1. No one can win b2b this year so we are still b2b champions
    2. vermin will be beaten because riff can’t lose twice in a row
    3. Bennett will be a loser next week
    4. Best payback for Mitchell’s hit on Manu that he can’t play in the gf.

Souths have a huge chance to win and people seriously overrate how much Latrell means to Souths he really isn't that important to them

Yeah but the riff at least schooled the drizz. Still I don't like either but in this case lesser of 2 evils for me is the riff.

This will be a close one. It probably will come down to who starts the game better. I’ve resigned to the fact that souffs will win, so if it does happen I won’t be as depressed lol
          EASTS TO WIN!

Storms ball control today and unforced errors was Easts on a bad day.

Extraordinary they brought that to the most important game.

All Sydney GF a small consolation I guess, but Penrith need to win!

Ivan just said he 'stole' the cross kick to winger from Easts...to use against Storm.

It all hinges on Cody Walker.

              The Panthers defensive is exceptional.

So if Walker bottles it in offense or even has an average game, a lot of the Souths attack options go out the window (and with it goes the premiership).

If Walker fires, Souffs will be in it.

I think it'll be tight, but Panthers should get it done barring any key HIA or injury losses during the game.

For the riff, the pain of last years loss will be too great to lose again. Way too painful to go through again. Vermin basically will be facing a wounded animal at its most dangerous. If vermin lose which I believe is highly likely, I think Mitchell will be blamed in the media. But honestly, the pain of last year should be more than enough motivation to get the riff the win.

So much depends on whether Cleary gets charged by the MRC. He’s got priors so any charge means he will miss a game. Penrith can’t win the GF without him.

Have they played a tough game all year? They've been belting teams all season long, it's great as fan but doesn't really do much for the battle hardened finals

It’s also lose/lose. I can’t stand either side but having to choose I’m with the chocolate soldiers - assuming I’m still allowed to say that.

If his name was radley he would be gone for sure, but I don't think he will be charged. I thought Momorovski actually contribnted to it as well by dragging Bromwich to the ground as well

What an odd little world we are living in, the first all Melbourne AFL grand final in many years, played in Perth, and the first all Sydney grand final in about the same amount of years, played in Brisbane.

                            That's a smart read mate...it will be a factor.

Also, the NRL finally got a GF without the roosters or storm in it. That’s been one an important goal for them, but neither team are gf material I reckon. Hoping riff win it as what they did to Manu is best avenged by a gf loss on a cold platter.
