Season 2021 highlights and lowlights

Wanted to get everyone's feedback on their highlight and lowlight for season 2021.

Lowlight: Attending the broncos home game and experiencing the "new" rules. Went away very disillusioned with what the game has become.
Highlight: All the young/inexperienced guys coming in and giving a great account of themselves. Also Robbo as a coach and as a man/leader

Highlight- If I had to pick out one individual moment from the season it would be be beating Parra 28-0, OR watching the Sam Walker inspired comeback against the Sharks.
Lowlight- Funnily enough I picked up a neck injury playing social sport on the same day we played the Broncos- so I ended up listening to the commentary whilst unable to move in a hospital bed. Not a good experience.

Few of mine -

Lowlights: being near tears and the retirements of Boyd, Friend and BMoz. Also seeing rooster players getting punished as a consequence of the rule crackdowns because of roosters players getting injured. Horrible officiating (whats new).
Highlights: Manu stepping up in games and getting hands on the ball more - cant get enough of that. Teddy becoming a leader. Being able to see how talented Sammy Walker and Suaalii are. Having rebuild without a 'rebuild'.

Highlight - Despite injuries and suspensions the players dug deep to finish 5th - The Experience and Lessons learned will be invaluable in 2022 and beyond as long as players keep developing and improving their games - the pressure to maintain a spot in the 17 as a result of a number of players getting extended NRL games will be very beneficial to not only players but the team performances.

Lowlight - Chooks set completions and error rates - need to correct this going forward

Lowlight- The Bmoz injury. I can still hear the screams. Then when Vossy mentioned last year's Rads followed by Verrills ACL's within a few minutes you just knew it was going to happen again. And down went Collins and probably our season.
Highlight- The insight into our future with players like Walker, Suaalii, Ebutch, Baker, Hau Tapuha, Whyte. Most getting game time that they otherwise would not have if not for the injuries.

Lowlight: The loss of Cords & Friend (2 one club players) the others who endeared season ending injuries will be back but Jake & Cords still had footy ahead of them. BMoz was pretty sad.
Highlight: Finishing fifth nearly 4th with the injury toll retirements & suspension. The Roosters are in a good place Robbo continues to drive the spirit & passion for the Roosters jumper, while he is in charge I believe the Chooks will be a top 4 maybe 5th best side winning comps along the way.
