Manly will beat us via the defensive weaknesses of Keighran and Lam and the heart-in-mouth ball handling of Ikavulu. Not to mention the ineffectiveness of Hutchinson's kicks (Lam needs to do the offensive kicking when we're 30m out - though I'm concerned that we'll be lucky to even get inside their 20m zone).

If JWH finds himself on report early, I'd unleash the beast and give him license to damage someone.

Tedesco to be constantly sniffing around the ruck and Liu needs more SAFE offloads. No panic passing from anyone please.

If the footy Gods are on the Roosters side the Roosters have got the strike player in Teddy who like Turbo does have the ability to win the game on his own.

Thanks for your concern, I do have an absolutely beautiful woman in my life who is 11 years younger than me and she satisfies my every need.

We can win this, amazingly, even missing 11 of our top 30 in Keary, Friend, Cordner, Collins, B Moz, Smith ,Suaali, Verrills, TKO, Manu and Thomas. I guess at full strength at least eight of them would be in the 17 and we wouldn't even be playing this game.

We would have finished first or second and won last week and be having a week off.

i forget what i predicted but i'm not surprised we lost. i don't feel as bad as last year when we were knocked out but i don't feel good either but the boys just ran out of troops and juice. even last night might have been more even if we'd played the previous friday and it was manly who played in tropical heat on saturday but maybe it wouldn't.

still, an enjoyable season and one to be proud of. hope the boys kick on next year.

but now it's time for a break - see you all next year ...

I don’t think manly are that much a better side than us, other than if turbo goes all freak show. A lot of pressure on him,

Manly won by 36, my prediction 28 though got Turbo's 2 tries as well

haha...StreetKid homeless boy was last seen at a porn shop (i.e cash convertors) trading in his "magic wand of positivity" so he can get a real fan....maybe for summer..

Sometimes u just gotta be realistic otherwise u are seen just as a poor judge of football.

I admire positivity generally but not in a predictions thread and someone says u are not a real fan when u see the writing on the wall...

I thought that their smarts and the group confidence we have witnessed over several weeks would get them home. Instead DCE, Turbo, Foran and Walker had the games they wanted to play last week and the Chooks were almost unrecognisable apart from the lamentable completion rate. Probably not their worst game but disappointing nonetheless - couldn't fire from the get go and the ignominious performance detracted from what has been a brave struggle to maintain respect after so many calamitous setbacks. They just didn't turn up. Boo!!
