Some manly acquaintances have started the texting. Usual salary sombrero stuff , still being able to field a squad despite all the injuries. These insults are so boring.

There's no arguing with fools like that. To them, if the Roosters were in a plane crash and risked their lives to rescue hundreds of children in danger of being killed when it explodes, they would be criticising them for having business class seats!

I predict Rads and/or JWH will be binned for a tackle above the boot laces, and Walker will be taken out by a dog shot with no action taken on the field. The chip stealer will then be cited and suspended to guarantee the filthy vermin a walk to the big dance.

Imagine if someone said before the season started that you would be playing a finals match with Lam, Hutchinson & Marschke as 3 of the 4 spine players.

U would get a pen and put a big black mark thru our chances.

Unfortunately that time has come, the end of the road is nigh. We are too busted and our form line ain't that great.

Bring on 2023....maybe then we can challenge for a premiership....next yr another for rebuilding.

Anyways Manly 40-12, Turbo 2 or more tries;

Anything is possible but it's probably Manly 10 plus to cover the line.

Fark Manly, they have got to have had the softest draw of the season. They've played Melbourne, us and souths only once each in the regular season and they played us and souths in weeks 1 and 2 and melbourne late in the season when it pretty much didn't matter. They played Penrith twice but that was in round 4 and round 8 so basically by round 8 they had already played their allotted matches against the top 5 with only Melbourne to play about 15 weeks later.

They got canterbury twice, north queensland twice, wests tigers twice, warriors twice, canberra twice and the dragons twice, throw in the single game against Cronulla and Brisbane each and that's 14 of their 24 games against the bottom 8 then throw in playing gold coast twice because they won 10 games all year and are a glorified bottom 8 team since they finished equal with Cronulla and Canberra so 16 out of 24 games against shit teams and they went 14-2 lol they won 16 games all season and the other 2 somehow were against Parramatta.

And people in the media were seriously talking up Manly as a premiership upset contender lol

Full strength roosters, Penrith and Melbourne all put 40 on Manly this year. We scored 9 tries and missed half the goals that day it should have been 50+

I will probably eat my words but the closer it gets to game day the more confident I am. There's no reason to think we couldn't beat them.

Would be more confident in Manu, SST & Verrillis are playing, but they ain;t so deal with it...

Who gives you the place to say that? The fans who dont think we'll win ( I dont think we can do it either) are being realistic here, im sure they are hopeful but also being realistic.

Manly have a full strength team and have someone at the back playing similar to hayne 09 it'll be super tough and a huge huge win if we can do it.

I hope we can do it though, but im not putting my house on it.

What makes you think next year will be another rebuilding year? Were in the semi's with the norths team lol that shows the depth is there and a huge block of development has already made progress this year to some youngsters. I think with another pre season those same youngsters will be brimming with desire and hunger to wear the RWB week in and out ( Butcher, Tuku, Baker, Hutch , AK etc ). We also have those fringe development players in Volkman, Moretti, Vuarate, Graham Moala Tuafa to name a few who will be bigger and better again next season finally with some consitent footy to be played.

Throw in the return of some key personnel in Kezza, Collins , Smith and JS who will be a mainstay in our FG team and will impress us all our combo's will build and we can look how we did when we trounced manly and tigers in rd1 & 2 earlier this season when we looked ON.

Perhaps some signings as well - Sims is one to mention who i believe will add quality, aggro, experience and leadership in our pack if we can secure his signature.

And to top it all off our coach Robbo as shown what a real leader he is and the real deal and has learnt some stuff through the hard way.


Cant wait till we can watch our boys run out next season in our new fortress. The future is keen!

There's a difference between "I don't think we will win because half the team is missing" to "half the team is missing but this guy is shit, that guy is shit, these guys suck, the season is a failure" that's pure pea heart behaviour that has been constant lately from a few loud mouth weak....

Perhaps rebuilding is not the right word but look at all the experience we have lost from the start of this yr

Cordner, Friend, B Morris, J Morris, Iceman, etc.

Players like Walker, J Sualli, Verillas E Butcher & Baker etc are still too raw to see out a full season.

Agree that Sims would be a massive IN....definitely need more experienced players. Another experienced prop almost essential too.

With our top squad we are a challenger but injuries are inevitable under PVL flopball.

Top 4 or 5 at best.
