  • The refs are either spineless or thick as 2 planks

Both our game and Souffs game.

As soon as Tits players or Souffs players put up both hands, penalty. If a player gets up slowly to play the ball, six again. If they rub their head or neck, crusher and penalty.

3 six agains to nil for Souffs. One on the 5th tackle. They also scored a try off one of them.

    Unbelievable.

They're so scared of making an error these days you can see it. There's no conviction or confidence in what they do.

The "Radley forward pass" in tonights game is a perfect example. Clear neither ref thought it was forward but because all the Titans players just stopped and put their hands up they felt inclined to rule on it.

Same when any player grabs at their neck.

Ruining the spectacle of our game. Players just need to get on with it.

I thought the Iku no try call when Teddy was ruled for an obstruction was a dud too....pretty sure it was sweet, caught outside the lead runner. Was a 'square up' I think.

No Jack, I can’t argue with that one. Teddy definitely caught that on the inside.

That was a square up to fafitas one. both correct imo. But lam's break he definetly caught it on the outside shoulder, absolute rubbish call up there with verills on report.

The worst for me was Campbell being 2 or 3 metres out of position at marker, making a tackle on the try line and the ref ignored it because it was 10 minutes to go right near the post that would've been 10 in the bin, 2 points and the game over with Gus, Joey and the Fox morons whinging for a week about it.

I reckon the replay freeze frame they focussed on was BEFORE Teddy catches the ball and they ruled on that frame. When he catches the ball he is outside the runner.

I may well be wrong. They dont call me Vanderbilt for nuthin.

To o just was tackled high by Paulo. If he took a dive penalty and 6 more again. Good on him for not doing a Jai Arrow.

My issues were many. Our first no try was a penalty try all day long.
the try ika gifted the titts from a short pass infront of our goal posts was a try but the lead up bomb where the left side was atleast 1 m off side.
the other was when we were attacking the try line just before the tits left side made the break that walker shut down. Young cambell wasnt marker nor onside tacked teddie? . penalty. The they ended up with the ball from a Liu drop ball.

The non penalty for us late in the game when Verrilis ran the ball and was tackled by a player who was neither the marker or on side was very baffling

Totally true. The ref refused to acknowledge it they almost won.

Agreed. IMO it's the problem with crackdowns... the refs are trying to follow the agenda of the day rather than calling it as they see it.

It's comparable to (for example) the cops standing at a pedestrian crossing all day and issuing top-dollar fines to everybody who j-walks (coz they were told to) while there's drug deals and assaults going on all around them (which only get noticed when a drug dealer sticks up his hands and says 'hey hey this guy threatened to punch me, I don't think that was very nice!'One can argue 'j-walking has already been banned'. Sure... but there's discretion and you generally look-out for more substantive matters rather than nit-picking stupid stuff that doesn't need enforcement unless somebody's being an absolute d!ck about it.

This was a shocking call. Looked at the ball the whole time, which I think can definitely be an illegal block, but he also instantly moved to the ball. Nothing illegal about it.

The worst diver in the comp Peachey hit Ikuvalu flush across the jaw as he scored. Probably an eight point try if he stays down. Roles reversed and they would have put a white sheet over Peachey and put a toe tag on him.
