I closely watched last night's game for one thing - how many times is a tackle made and completed where the opposition comes in contact at some stage with the ball runner's head. Contact was made with the head on most occasions. Let's entertain two popular 'conspiracy' theories: (1) some people see the game much like boxing and as such it is inherently violent and must therefore be eliminated as a sport. And/or (2) The Roosters are rorters who deserve the clown music. Then a perfect way to destroy the game is to target us as an unsafe and unfair club! Thoughts...

Make junior league safe for kids and if you want to play as a professional accept the risks involved
what's puzzling you is the nature of the gameLast edited by Bondicigar; 09-11-2021, 04:19 PM.

At some point in just about every tackle, a defenders arm comes in contact with the ball carriers head is almost unavoidable. The rules are designed to be ambiguous and flexible so they can enable a shit teams back into a contest through 6 against and penaltys.
Today will be a great example of that.
