They have to go the way of the NBA and start fining players for diving.
Just start fining every time someone stays down. If a player wants to contest a fine they have to be assessed by an independent doctor to determine if there was in fact any trauma. If they fail this then the fine doubles.

During the game it just goes to show how dumb the refs really are that they continue to fall for the same rubbish every week. Anyone with half a brain cell can see the players are diving yet the dopey refs can’t wait to blow a penalty

No penalty for Smith but he may have meant Jahrome Hughes. He looks up at the ref, no penalty blown, so he holds his headgear with such pain like the cat he is

Diving has been a blight on the game for 20 years now it'll never go away. Some teams are coached to do it and no matter the circumstances I am glad we aren't one of them. Ricky Stuart and the Raiders are currently the worst in the comp for it.

The NBA is pathetic with its flopping and its gotten to an unwatchable point where the attacking player dives in to a defender to get a penalty. Besides, fining guys who earn tens of millions a year in salary alone does nothing.

If this years GF is contested by anyone other then Melbourne and Penrith it will be an absolute miracle, I know nobody here gives Parra a chance but both times they played Melbourne they beat them and beat them well at their own game.

I am against lying down for penalty’s but at this point the only way you could compete with Melbourne is to absolutely go full on and lie down. Make the video ref make a decision on everything. Storm are a disgusting team. Everything comes from their coach. The biggest laugh is the media have been trying to say Bellamy doesn’t really recruit players on talent but on character. But then everything they do on the field is a cheat. Bend the rules . Lie down. It is so hard to watch.

There was no penalty and Cheese had a head clash with the tackler.

I was at this game and the Hughes one in the second half happened right in front of me. The two tacklers lifted him just through the horizontal but corrected before he was near the ground. Ref calls play on, Hughes rolls around as if dying. They call a halt, ref then blows the penalty and Hughes under goes the storm magical faith healing and returns A minute later. It is a joke
