Bit harsh, no? He’s no Joey Johns or Thurston but doesn’t need to be, a backup halfback who is a solid enough defender with a good running game. No real complaints about him. Good to have around with his ability to cover hooker, halves and centre, especially with the injuries.

Walker has been rested , I think and hope it's Robbo playing ducks and drakes and Walker starts.
Love the look of our pack

I agree but for some reason seems much maligned here. He has done a reasonable job overall, and I think Trent rates him highly enough to keep selecting him. Remember he was first choice as a half with Keary at start of the season.

Lam and Hutch seem to work well as a halves combo. Lam can do his thing and Hutch can do his as well. Lam and Keary didn’t really work since Keary was doing everything which led to Lam being invisible.

That is one hell of a team.

I love the enthusiasm and energy young Fletcher brings to the side but I wouldn’t mind him to size up a little during pre season. I’ve said it countless times I might be sounding like a broken record but I think he gets dominated in the tackle too much and it can sometimes kill our go forward. I’m by no means bagging the kid but I think this is one area we can develop. Thoughts?

Walker is too small to start the game.
Lam is the most suitable half-back we have to start the game.

he goes alright - maybe he's not a battering ram but he's got a bit of skill about him, has good hands and a good pass

Id like to agree with you but then we'd both be wrong

I'm almost as nervous for tonight's game. I think Storm will be too hot, but we need them to be.

Don't want to be requiring a straight sets out for the best team of the year. Very unlikely. May have never happened.

                      Can beat Manly though.

I feel differently, I want Manly to beat Melbourne, and then us to play them next week, I'd rather play them coming off a loss and with no week off, than if they win and have a weeks rest. We can beat those cheating asssholes.

The Roosters' side to take on the Gold Coast Titans at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Saturday night has been trimmed 24 hours prior to kick-off.

Ben Marschke and Naufahu Whyte have dropped off the extended bench, while Dale Copley and Ben Thomas have been retained.

I've seen nothing to suggest we can beat Melbourne this year

                                100%, It’s fantasy stuff.
Guaranteed Melbourne or Penrith will win the comp. Both fully fit I think Melbourne.
We all know if the Chooks were at full strength they would give both sides a good run for their money but we’re gonna have to wait till next year for that.
