Our performances and where we sit on the ladder is amazing. I have no doubt that any other side with so many injuries wouldn’t be in the top 8 let alone top 4.

One of the most interesting seasons. Great to get an early look at the future.

Definitely the most frustrating season I’ve experienced. It’s difficult watching knowing that realistically we are no chance of winning the comp.

What it means is Rooster has a fair amount of depth in the Roster going forward so there will pressure on players to retain their position in the 17 each week - One can say they may need some additional depth in outside backs though.

It will be the case though of developing not only these players but all players going forward so they can perform at the required level of their ability week in week out.

May also assist in resting players from time to time not just during SOO or last round or so of the season as well when there are players than can step in and perform at that level.

I've hated the season. I'll remember it as one of the shittest years ever, our squad this year was exceptional anything other than going into finals with a sense of optimism seemed unfathomable at the start for the year.

As a fan I would rate it a 2/10, I don't think I've ever been more frustrated watching a season unfold.

From a performance perspective it's a 9/10, the performances Robinson has got out of players on the absolute fringes of the squad has been ridiculous. Some of the young talent who have been exposed earlier and in much bigger roles than ever intended have been brilliant. The pride and desire shown by everyone involved in the club including the fans has been brilliant.

The most mixed of emotions but still extremely lucky to follow such a great club who's future looks as bright as ever.

I hope we never have to have a season like it ever again.

There has been better seasons result wise but the spirit & ticker this year has been like no other.
Ive doubted the Chooks this year but mate have they done well. The Chooks are in great hands & have got alot of talent coming through so I think this year will be the spring board to have the Roosters challenging for the title next year.

I going to wait to rate this season to see how far we go in the finals. Obviously is we end up in a major semi or higher, then the season will be one for the ages!
                Red, White and Bluesters!!!

Maybe it needs to be re-framed: All things considered, how proud of the team are you compared to other years in the NRL era?

Sometimes everything goes your way and you win B2B, other times it falls to shit and you get the spoon and your team deliberately loses the last game of the season to win some cash back from the TAB .....

As a fan, I'd rank it a C- probably. It has been absolutely heartbreaking and frustrating - knowing that we'd be easily mixing it with the Storm and Panthers with a full-roster. We would've been as good as chance as any to win the comp, and witnessing all the bad luck, and seeing Bmoz and Friendy (among others) go out without a deserving send-off was rough.

In terms of performance relative to adversity, I'd say A. An A+ if we didn't drop that Broncos game. Probably could've beat the Panthers the second time round, too. As a team, I genuinely don't think they could have performed any better, given the circumstances.

In regards to the comment above, I think this season is the proudest I've ever been of the side. Maybe their performance in the 2018 GF as a close second.

Great foundation to build off for 2022
we will nearly start favourites next year at full strength

I'd rate this season as a masterclass in succession planning, resilience, mateship and the true meaning of playing for your team mates whether you are on debut or an old hand at it all like JHW. Not to mention adapting to playing fabulous football all over the place from Toowoomba, Mackay and back home here too. No whinging, no excuses, just getting on with it all despite appalling injuries and 2 of our best hospitalised due to foul play. Throw in the loss of our co-captains, Brett Morris and LK as well. I consider this season so far to be as satisfying as a grand final win. Lesser clubs would have folded like a cheap suit and just treaded water until the season ended but Trent said we are not just here to make up the numbers. I'll think we'll all look back on this season as one to remember. It just shows the class and professionalism of how the club is run properly as a business. Lesser clubs should take note.

I think this season has been the most frustrating ever. But equally also the most surprising. Personally I just want it to be over as I’m sick of seeing us lose a player or two to injury or suspension every single week. I’m sick of the NRL, referees and MRC doing everything in their power to bring the club down. I’m shattered that Jake and Boyd didn’t get a proper farewell. Or BMoz. But I’m so proud of how this team has turned up week after week and here we are at the moment still in the top 4! I think Robbo is the greatest coach in the comp and I wouldn’t swap him for any other. Forget Bellamy or the so called master coach. I loved the way he stood up for the team, his players and the fans in that presser last week as it summed up pretty much my entire feelings about this season.
