Lol inherited a premiership side, we finished 6th, won something like 4 of our last 12 games and got beat by 40 points in the 2001 semi final, people just refuse to give Stuart credit for the work he did with the club in 02-04

He had nothing to do with the development of that side in 2002, he INHERITED IT. Then he fukked it up by bringing in Finch because he was from Canberra.... Finch cost us more games that he won, Stuart has won nothing since.... he deserves credit for nothing.

It was an odd presser. I mean it would s*ck to get bundled out. However, he kept chewing on his tongue as if it were a stick of chewie and in summary said:

I don’t see what’s wrong with what he said, why would he care about an opposition team and he’s 100% right on the fact that not being able to beat a team missing a dozen or so players shows that they’re wasting their time next week.

I didn't mind Finchy myself although the "family" that sat behind us in bay 14 hated him and other players too over the years.- Mini/Ricko/Perrett/Cross etc - always used to tell us you don't know what they are really like away from football etc etc

For Wing it was a good move going from half to dummy half though as he would not have been selected at half for NSW/Australia in from of A Johns

The move of Wing to hooker was not ideal and whether he would’ve represented as a half is irrelevant. Players are picked in the best position for their clubs who pay their salaries, not to enhance their representative prospects.
Name me one coach who broke up a premiership winning halves combo in the next game they played in the following year.

1. Sorting out clubs with discipline issues.

Craig Wing played multiple games in 2003 at halfback with Finch off the bench unlike when he played for Murray where the bench had his name on it because he preferred Paul Green lol besides we were the second best attack team in 03 and 04 averaging almost 30 points a game I don't see how you can say Wing to hooker was anything but a success the guy was phenomenal in that role
