He had nothing to do with the development of that side in 2002, he INHERITED IT. Then he fukked it up by bringing in Finch because he was from Canberra.... Finch cost us more games that he won, Stuart has won nothing since.... he deserves credit for nothing.

It was an odd presser. I mean it would s*ck to get bundled out. However, he kept chewing on his tongue as if it were a stick of chewie and in summary said:
      - Roosters are shyte and we shoulda been able to flog them. Nobody loses to them.
      - Our prep was perfect, the result's all because we lost George Williams.
      - Nup, not gonna share any reflections on the season or my philosophy.

Can’t knock Ricky’s passion. He’s been riding the wave of our 2002 premiership for almost 20 years now. Only made one GF since. Can’t believe he still has a job.

It’s irrelevant whether he cares or not,it’s more about showing some respect to someone asking you a question regarding an opposition team..

Surely with all the money he is being paid by the game he can show some class and answer a general question respectfully, instead of acting like a tool he is renowned for being..

I will never forgive Sticky for moving Craig Wing from No.7 to hooker in 2003, listening to an interview from Wingy last year makes me think he is of the same opinion..

A stuff up of major proportions, especially when the alternative was Brett Finch!

I can't stand him. So glad the myth's side is not in the finals.

As I said in another thread, they won't be there next season either.

But with his best mate the boss of that inbred club he will be there for another decade at least even if he never makes the finals.

              He has everyone conned.

One of the highest-paid coaches and no comp for 20 years. Only coach with more than 300 games and lost more than he won. I could go on and on about how average he is.

His all-time best was rejecting a cut-price Thurston who was desperate to come to our club in 2005.

Like the EMI bloke who told "The Beatles" that guitar groups were on the way out.

For Wing it was a good move going from half to dummy half though as he would not have been selected at half for NSW/Australia in from of A Johns
The move of Wing to hooker was not ideal and whether he would’ve represented as a half is irrelevant. Players are picked in the best position for their clubs who pay their salaries, not to enhance their representative prospects.
Name me one coach who broke up a premiership winning halves combo in the next game they played in the following year.

The Angry Ant is only good for 2 things as a coach:

                    1. Sorting out clubs with discipline issues.
                    2. Canberra

He is annoying but I still respect his passion and the entertainment factor he brings to the sport. I also still love watching his playing highlights.

"I'm not being disrespectful to the Roosters, they've had a really tough year and done a really good job getting to where they are, but if we can't beat that team out there tonight we're only wasting another week being up here... Like if we couldn't beat that team Christ we will be waiting for another week to get beaten"

Lol how about you accept that you got beat by a far superior coach and a far better team. God I wish we were full strength tonight so we could've put 60 on them, would've made it even better seeing what the Sook had to say about it. Anyways Ricky, hope you enjoyed your stay up on the GC and never remember.... 2019 GF
Not surprised by Prickly's disrespectful comments.

He's VERY competitive and deep down realises his pretty much full strength team was comprehensively beaten by a 2nd string Roosters outfit.

                      Suck it up Prickly!!!

lol how can you inherit a premiership winning team that finished 6, got flogged by 40 points in the semi finals and went on a disaster run to finish the season struggling to win games? It’s mind boggling the mental gymnastics people come up with to discredit Ricky Stuart’s time with us.

I have no probelems with his comments at all. Considering what was at stake for his side last night, our injury crisis, and what was at stke fro them last night. He has every reason to feel that way.

Craig Wing played multiple games in 2003 at halfback with Finch off the bench unlike when he played for Murray where the bench had his name on it because he preferred Paul Green lol besides we were the second best attack team in 03 and 04 averaging almost 30 points a game I don't see how you can say Wing to hooker was anything but a success the guy was phenomenal in that role

Disgraceful comments by a guy who doesn't have the answers anymore.

You've got to be better than that as a leader.

Ranks with Gould's suggestion Lattrells conduct is a product of Easts coaching.

                                Both are Disrespect 101.
