Riley Brown should get a one-game contract next season and break his ribs.

I hope JWH gets him good, real good but he will have to sit out a couple of weeks for it. I wouldnt expect JWH to purposely try & break his eye socket or jaw but if it happens it happens, things happen in a split second, tackles sometimes go wrong. Thats footy.
In your desperation to troll us on anything to do with Souffs you are wrong. People acknowledge he’s a great player but also think he is a massive grub. At our club they were saying it and that was before he was able to do whatever he wants at Souffs.

It wasn’t the tackle but what happened immediately after that was the most disappointing and I hope he’s learnt from it. Latrell had grubby tendencies when he played for us but we tend to turn a blind eye when it’s one of our guys.

Latrell’s a competitor and as a blues supporter I love what he brings to those games. He was a club teammate of Gagai but still went after him with a vengeance. And the way he manhandled Chambers 2 years before was very enjoyable to watch.

Collectively we have no idea about what he had to deal with growing up and those developmental years can definitely brand people for life. Until we have walked in his shoes we shouldn’t judge.

It will be interesting to see how he progresses without Robbo and Bennett and I hope for his sake it doesn’t go down the path some are predicting here.

FWIW I would welcome him back with open arms.

IMO a lot of good players have a bit of grub/mongrel in them. I reckon it's a part of being a passionate competitor, unless you're one of those ice cold murderer style competitors.

Fergo's a decent example when compared with Toops. I love Toops and he's the guy you want with you long-term. However sometimes he's too polite. Fergo makes his territory VERY clear and (for example) if players are lining up to tackle him while he's in the air (apparently defenders can just do that while making no attempt to get the ball) he'll push them away and be like 'get farked you d!ckhead!!!' They'll then p!ss off and try to contest the ball instead.

I'm not gonna criticise a guy for having a wild side. IMO all the boys know 'Trell and none would have an issue with him off the field. He's a competitor who plays with passion. Good on him. BUT... he's a Souffs player, so who gives a toss?

I don’t mind any player being a grub, but Latrell showed absolutely no care or remorse when he saw the state Manu was in, that is the part that will be remembered about it, people will never forgive Cameron Smith for how he reacted when they paralysed Alex McKinnon either.

Without sounding like a spiteful RWB fan, it gives me unlimited satisfaction knowing his act of thuggery and deserved punishment heavily contributed towards his adopted club not winning the 2021 premiership. SUCKO!!!

Massive difference between a grub and a dirty player .Latrells actions on Joey were just that dirty and spiteful ..He has shown now remorse in public to Joey , the Roosters or the supporters who had to see the much loved players face destroy , his families anguish because if unnecessary and deliberate actiions .Like others I try not to hate anyone but Latrine makes that bloody hard .

                    Losing the 2021 premiership, right?

I hold no personal grudges but yes... it was definitely satisfying to see them rubbed out in that fashion. Particularly in a game where they needed his long kicking game towards the end.

i personally believe the tackle was somewhat accidental .

latrell's action after that was very poor , and im sure bennett and himself are aware of that .

the guy is still a gun player, hopefully he learned from the incident .

I hope he doesn't flame out like Andrew Walker and other players who couldn't handle the pressure of the spotlight.
I hope all Souths players “flame out”. Nothing personal I just hate Souths.

                          100% agree.
If players want to play that style (which I like) then they have to cop the consequences if it goes wrong.

I dont know what happened behind the scenes but Joey & Joeys family plus Robbo all said to back off on Latrell they said he was a good man. No hard feelings from the people involved.
I cant work out why people get upset on dirty/grubby players, its part of the game its not in the rules but Rugby League has always had grubbiness/ thuggery but Latrells actions weren't grubby/thuggery in my books they were aggressive & he wanted a collision but he didnt pre mediate to do what happened. I dont know about you Rooster1908 but just about everyone I talk to about Rugby League dont go for the Chooks & they are unanimous in their thinking that JWH is the biggest grub in the game, I laugh & agree with them & then say we have won 3 Premierships because we have the biggest grub in the game.
What George Burgess did to Robbie Farah was grubby, Hopoate was a grub, blokes like Latrell & JWH, Sam Burgess are just rough, tough & at times dirty players who like physicality & like to hurt the opposition.

Aggression is a a great hit driving your shoulder into someone's ribs ., Dirty is running in flat out a creaming someone's face with your shoulder / chest or whatever , then next up throwing a ball down full force next to a opposition players face .Both dangerous and way past the spirit and toughness of the game .I agree he is a great player but that's not to say he's not a dirty player .Big difference between dirty and tough . Great players Morely, Spud , Chief , sure occasionally it went wrong but they set out to hurt the opposition for sure but they also tried to do it within the rules of the time .

                                I see it differently.
To run in on a player & want to put a shot in on him & it comes off is tough but if it goes wrong it is dirty the toughness can bring out the dirtiness.
What Victor Radley did earlier this year in my opinion was playing tough but others saw it as dirty play & agreed with his suspension.
I suppose we need to work out what is grubby, dirty, rough, thuggery & tough what I think is different to what you think so how do we work out whats what?
Its very hard to do because 99% of fane love their team & hate the rest so if its their player that commits the crime they jump up & down saying it was an accident but if its their player that has coped the foul play they call the opposition player grubby.
