The one saving grace from this season is that these young blokes are getting blooded. They are learning how to play tough and win with their backs against the wall. And hopefully setting themselves up for premiership success over the next couple of seasons.
Compare this young crop following Teddy and JWH around, to the basket cases clubs like Tigpies, Titans, Dogs, Drongos and Cows. This is why Easts are the greatest club in the NRL Any other club/team culture and I dare say we would have been down with the forementioned teams, not battling for 4th

This team would beat both the team we are putting on the field tomorrow as well as Souths.

The only starting first graders that won't be available for the finals from Storm/Panthers/Bunnies/Eagles are Josh Mansour and George Jennings. Probably the two worst first graders in those teams. The contrast in fortunes is quite incredible.
