Was he related to John Touma, associate of our own John Tobin?
Touma is a Lebanese surname and Travis represented Lebanon as a former player.

Lebanese father, Aboriginal mother, hence his indigenous links.

          His mother is indigenous.

Wash your mouth out . Some people would have you believe Souffs are the only club doing stuff for indigenous communities. In some areas we do more than they do and much of it is/was led by Travis.

This is a big shock to me I guess that things don't last for ever but I get the feeling there is something more behind this and that probably surprises me more

Roosters are sending him in there to infiltrate their ranks so three-quarters of their side gets injured too.

This surprises me a little Yak. I’ve looked at his Real Movement Project stuff & thought it looked good. He also seemed to do a good job with us back in 2013/4. I recall he changed our bench press routine & when other teams had a spate of pec tears we had none.

That said, you are probably more knowledgeable about this stuff …. not a big ask.

With this on top of the retirements, it feels very much like a changing of the guard. Have no ill will towards Travis going but would have preferred it were to another club, such as the sharks.

If you consider some of Robbo’s comments around our injury crisis maybe being down to training I’m not surprised we are going in a different direction. I suspect the “poaching” thing is Souffs spin.

Thank you and to also the other posters as I didn't know that. Glad he got to represent Lebanon anyway and I am grateful to Travis and anyone else who played a part in our 3 recent premiership wins. Fans of other clubs are envious of one win, let alone 3 so recently, so he obviously played a big part for so long otherwise Nick wouldn't have kept him on staff if he were not good at his job. As for his new employer, good luck with that..nothing good ever seems to come of Roosters going over there. Just ask Fletch and Wingy. Even Russell Fairfax told me he would never cheer for them over us even though he played for them too.

or us not wanting a messy break up with someone who's helped us win comps

Well I'll thank him for his service to the Roosters and his part in the machine that has given us success over the past several seasons, although as he is going to the mortal enemy I find it difficult to wish him future success !

Over the years I've found it very difficult to hear his name spoken without thinking of Arnie in Kindergarten Cop ....."I have a headache, itz nud a tooooma !"

Family of Souths supporters and his physio biz is (or was) in Redfern. I guess we were fortunate to have him for so long incl 3 flags. Better be a good newbie, TIT and TIN.

Who cares… The Roosters have the resources to find better.
