Nat said on the interview he was a Roosters fan as a kid. Add another one to the list. Love it.

It was interesting listening to Phil "Gus" Gould's thoughts on why Parra haven't jumped that next hurdle to top 2 team. He cited they buy in talent, but don't build that foundation of a Parra culture and DNA.

We are probably the opposite, and a likely top 4 finish this year after what's been thrown our way, is living proof of how that's kept us in the hunt.
I think from memory u have grown up around the Parramatta area ? Of course this will label me a racist but the last 20 years or so has seen Parramatta become part of India. Cricket is their thing, very few have the slightest interest in League. Years ago there would be 80 kids show up in Feb trialling to get a spot in every age group, now some of the clubs struggle to get 20. Aside from that though the front office has been a squabbling mess since the late 80s and they really need someone like Gould to run and overhaul there whole football operation

I live in the area now mate, but a country cuddy by heart. Moved to sin city in 2005.

But even with that demographic shift you mention , Parra only have to look at what we have done with no junior base growing up in the area. And yet still have forged a powerhouse club. Agree they need new blood at the top.

Great news for the Club, especially regarding Egan as he is a definite gun of the future..

He is a perfect example of a player that will greatly benefit down the track from his experience he is gaining this year, can’t wait to watch him develop!

Great news! More unsung Rooster champs (until they are, and we start dominating again, then the haters will complain about how do we get all the stars).
