    21 MAN SQUAD v DRAGONS

JWH back, but sadly, no Gus or Rads. The Butcher Bro's and Baker need to stand up, and I think they will. Thomas gets another run in 17. I'm not hugely confident but Saints are pretty ordinary and also have a few forwards out injured themselves.

Good luck boys - play Roosters footy, play in control, and with patience. Hold the ball, build pressure & execute when the opportunity arises ... don't force the issue.

    GO EASTS !!

Looking at this side it appears to me that the roosters have 2 1st grade teams so that even though we lose over half our best roster we can still field a very competitive team. Teddy, Manu, Walker and JWH can swing games. It’s amazing how well we’ve done this year.

It was fortunate he did have an off week - He knocked on or lost the ball in the play the ball enabling Tedesco to challenge the tackle on Sitili - If E Butcher had played the ball and played continued there could be no challenge of the previous play.

It isn't over yet! People are writing them off, and I am happy that they think we have no chance. C'arn Easts!!

16 of the 17 are still household names. Unbelievable.
10 players out & the team named is better than St George.
I think the Roosters can get over the Dragons in a tight game.

Norman at halfback and McGuire at hooker is laughable. Still, can’t underestimate them. Dragons seem to lift for us.

He still was bustling tackles defended well the only issue is there isn't many minutes off the bench and Baker has been a bit flat the last few weeks. The merge have been very ordinary of late so they are overdue for a good game but an off Roosters team should be good enough

I’m a bit like you, if we can finish 4th and play the Storm, I give us a fair chance of beating them. They don’t seem to be on top of their game at the moment, and semi final football is a little different . Here’s hoping.

I thought Naufahu Whyte played well on his debut, surprised to see he's not getting another crack this week.

PS: Bloody hell, looks like we won't be seeing Suluka-Fifita playing again this season ! ... he's really burnt his chances with Robbo by the looks of it

Fifita is a weird one. I’ve seen a couple of games where he’s started for the Bears and ripped in, only to come into first grade off the bench and make dumb plays. I think he’s trying too hard to prove himself.

The opposition's plan is to bait him and it's worked splendidly. Young and dumb atm.
I've mentioned it before but they should roll the dice and start DSF rather than have him come off the bench.
Gotta get him using all that energy and enthusiasm from the get-go rather than him bottling it up on the bench and then trying too hard or overcooking once he comes on.
