Well done, he was on a hiding to nothing. Already got a try, Ryan Hall must have been the most unlucky winger in NRL history.

It's a tough one because Copley's best position by far is left centre but to move keighran to right centre and Manu to right wing would leave us with a right edge defence of Sitilli,Walker and Keighran which would be a recipe for disaster.

He went well tonight, one swallow doesnt make a summer but he looks very safe under the high ball and has plenty of experience in a team with plenty of youngsters is a good thing to have.

Further he is an emergency pickup due to the injury issues we have had this season so far so I don't expect him to go out and be a superstar, hopefully he just does a good job......

Nah, Ryan Hall was very ill suited to attacking side of the way the NRL is played, he was decent for the yardage hit ups but slow as a barge near the tryline.......

Excellent game considering he’s straight into the side with minimal time to adjust to our structures and plays.

He looked comfortable and seemed to know his role. Some players in a tight game would try and be the hero and end up doing something silly.

[QUOTE=Johnny Brass; I always liked him as a left centre he has a good step and flick pass I think a lot of the time he has been played out of position on the wrong side of the field.

I thought him a good, solid Centre when he emerged at the Broncs some time ago .but injury plagued. Had some excellent games with the Coast by reports and I was not unhappy about his return. He certainly does have a handy skill set as you point out and he's fast. Seem to recall him being rated the fastest in the NRL some time back or was it at the Broncs?

Copley has only had 2 wins this year the first was playing for the Broncos against the Roosters in Rd 11 & his second win was playing for the Roosters against the Broncos last night.

Listening to Copley speak today it sounds like he has bounced back well from that concussion on Friday night and is expecting to be right to play on Sunday.
