Hutch isn't that type of half though - he is doing a good job and happy for him he got a 2 year extension

Can't blame him for trying because everyone else looked hopeless and off the mark against the Broncos. Walker's form has dropped in the last few weeks, Hutch has been consistently "ok" since returning to 5/8, Verrills is still trying to regain his confidence, Radley hasn't looked up to the mark since returning from the five weeks suspension, no JWH which is always a big negative factor, Angus missing which meant we had zero aggression and our only "X Factor/Strike Weapon" Joey Manu was surprisingly very quiet.

He was the only one that stepped up for us at all times. I'll forgive him for all the zig-zagging and skating around.


PS: Honourable mentions to Isaac Liu and Sio Siua Taukeiaho. Both lads played strong and showed the young lads how to get the job done.

The question for me isn't why is Teddy over playing his hand. But rather why are Walker and Hutch under playing their hands? Walker needs to be calling the shots more. Hutch can't simply just put a kick in every now and again.

Ridiculous comment. Without Teddy we lose that game, BY PLENTY. He is by far the best player in the comp, in the world really. Without Teddy we wouldn't be in the race for the semis.

The truth of the matter is without Tedesco and Radley our halves don't currently have what it takes to make the defence guess.

Radley also overlays his role, sometimes I just want him to run the ball.

I remember thinking the same thing after SOO3 this year when he had Latrell and Turbo outside. But I'm reminded the halves were Moses and Wighton as well.

He's certainly a skipper who leads from the front and doesn't shirk his responsibilities. A club legend and I love him.

The two things above aren't mutually exclusive.

If we want to empower others in the team (e.g. Manu) we need to give them space. The thing with being a leader isn't that you need to totally dominate and do everything. You actually can release a bit and find opportunities for others, at the right time. That's the next step in Teddy's development

I think Teddy had one single off game (and still put the opposition to the sword in patches). IMO it doesn't go any deeper than that.
