  • Official Match Day Thread: Roosters v Broncos

We owe them one. Our loss against them really hurt. They are a rubbish side and we should annihilate them tonight. Put them in their place and erase that loss.

Complete our sets and attack with our defense. And
don’t use the ref as an excuse.

    GO ROOSTERS!

They are not a rubbish side.
    They beat us last time.
    They are rebuilding.
They have new players for this match.
We need to play every game from now on like it's a grand final.
The way to play these games is.
. Mistake-free (as far as possible).
. Not let in easy tries past our wingers on the outside.
Last night's Storm v Raiders game showed the folly of having wingers who don't stay on their wings and defend the sidelines.
One big, strong, muscular winger scored 3 tries down his wing, the opposition winger defending in the centres.
    Ridiculous defence.
If Copley does that we'll lose, for sure and certain.
Toops does it sometimes, not tonite please.

How about those Radley sin binnings though And even worse I recall they scored two trys off of NFL QB passes but we had a try of our own disallowed for a forward pass.

Yes we were poor but it was a ref stitch up for the ages.

If we're reffed like Souffs AND play well we should win by 40. They are trash.

No big dog, no Gussy…they have Kelly at halfback (as they did last time we played them and they pulled out pants down). + their 14th man on field - the ref…guarantees tonight we lose AGAIN to these pricks.

looking for the boys to play good footy. will be tough without jwh and gus but if we hang in there we still have enough class to come out on top. good luck to the new boy and also to copley - if he can plug a hole he will be useful

Looking forward to this. With the absence of Jarred and Gus the Broncs will see us as vulnerable and be up for it.

Expecting our young pack to really step up tonight and lay the foundations for a good win.

Will be a big game for the older players ,they need to step up with so much inexperience in the team . Hopefully we can get over them but not confident to be honest .Go the Roosters

I know we are down on troops but we couldn't embaress ourselves again and lose to this rabble .
Chooks only have to hang onto the ball to win comfortably.
All hail Walker..gonna serve up his best on home town turf... I hope.

Andrew Johns said in the press this week that the Roosters are DONE. He tips the Drongos to beat us. He has always hated the Chooks and his predictions are normally way off the mark.... he tipped Parra to win the comp this year..... so I hope he is off the mark again. I live in Brisbane, so another loss to the Drongos would be hard to take. I seriously think we should have won last week, a couple of horrendous errors and some ridiculous calls by the ref cost us that game. Hopefully we will put a good game together against Brisbane, but missing Jared will make it harder. If we can minimize the errors I still think we will win well.

Broncos are trash and just as inexperienced as us.

No excuses, we need to win this and win it well.

SST needs to step up tonight. No question about it. He needs to out play Haas who is their biggest threat IMO.

Rooster killers Jamayne Isaako and TPG aren’t in the team this time so we should beat these nuffies!

Did Billy Hayes ever find his mouthguard? Maybe he lost it biting that snitch's tongue out.

Should win this one, all things being equal. Looking for a sharper game from our spine this week, all need to improve. Missing Gus and JWH, though hopefully Isaac and Nat Butch can lead the way, our best two last week. Our bench showcases some good young talent, including Whyte congrats to him on his debut.
