In the 2014 SG Ball grand final Nathan Cleary lined up against Easts...he was a star that day . but the Roosters went on to win the game

Tomorrow,,it would be great for history to repeat itself...Easts to Win

That evens things up a bit. Up to the Roosters now - how well will they play in their further weakened (no JMoz) state.

Yeah that evens things right up. Its gonna be a tight game.
The Chooks have more strike players & I think the Chooks pack is more experienced & better than Penriths. I feel the Roosters can do it.

baker looks alright, has a bit of skill about him. good news that they've dotted the is and crossed the ts with hutch. so we have now signed billy - hope he goes on to bigger and better things.

You dont think the Chooks can win?
They're are a massive chance to get over Penrith. The Chooks have more strike, x factor.

Big, big chance and I actually think we'll win. I also don't think it should worry the Panthers at all to lose a few games heading toward the finals, either.
If they get a healthy squad come the finals, I think they're just as good a chance as Melbourne.

The Panthers coming off a loss makes it tough but if they can build on last week, they’re a good chance.
                        ..it’ll be interesting to see

Brent Naden is out as well apparently. Not sure if that's a positive for the Roosters.

                            An upset?
Possible if we play our best footy and don't drop bombs like last game.

We haven’t beaten them in 2 years so no expectations here. But it’s a chance to grab 4th spot outright and we would be mad not to pull out all stops to win. Our defense needs to be rock solid to have any chance. If it is, players like Manu, Rads, Crichton and Teddy can swing a match. The ref and bunker could determine the result but the last couple of matches refs have been fairer. On paper we have a much better team if we hit top form. Unlikely win but possible if a lot of things go our way.

The Roosters have a better team than that Penrith team IMO.
This is defiantly a winnable game for the Chooks. It was a 50-50 game for me to start with but Penrith now have to many out & to many players playing out of position.
                                Go the Roosters.
