"The Roosters are considering making an immediate play for Manly hitman Jorge Taufua to alleviate their injury crisis as NRL clubs welcome the return of the league’s loan system.

"Their hit list is headlined by two Manly wingers, Taufua and Tevita Funa, who have been identified as potential fill-ins for the absence of Brett Morris (retired), Joseph Suaalii (foot), Matt Ikuvalu (ankle) and Billy Smith (foot)".

But yeah, the NRL app is odd. They have a headline titled 'Robbo eyes recruits after bitter smith blow' and it just links to an exert from the weekend presser about how Robbo's feeling for Billy in this situation (and wishes RTS all the best). Hardly supports the headline...

Edit: my bad, it was a link to the Tuesday presser for this week, but they'd cut the part where Robbo says 'we will consider recruiting players' out of it.
