  • Gus the Great

I absolutely ****ing loved his try celebration.

"Me want ma pud pud!" It kind of symbolised that, in a man's game, Gussy is the apex predator. The silverback gorilla. Just like JWH.

As his teammates say about him all the time, the dude is an absolute beast. He has a dozen aspects to his game that someone like a David Fifita desperately lacks that make him the complete edge backrower.

I know some people in the media had a sook over his actions during his try vs the Titans. But I loved it. I love the self confidence and the flow on effect it has for the team.

With Cordner retired I'd love it if we upgraded him ASAP on a 5yr deal.

I thought he was brushing his teeth hahaha

Is there a cultural reference I'm missing or something?

Unless they're really over-the-top, I couldn't really care less about post try celebrations. As long as you not pointing and laughing at the opposition or something.

On topic though, this dude really is some sort of player. Seems to shrug off tackles and seemingly no real reason sometimes. If he and Radley are at their best, we can still do a bit of damage in this competition.

It's from Ezekiel Elliot in the NFL

I cacked myself all the way through to the end of the game and afterwards when he did that. Hilarious.

Think it’s great to see that players show a bit of their personality, so long as its not disrespectful to the opposition I’m all for it.

The only think I dislike is arrogant, over-celebrations of tries. For example when the Drizz had 40+ points on us, some random added insult to injury and they're all leaping on him & acting if it was the best try ever.

I'm not saying 'don't celebrate' but I dunno... I reckon there's a certain kinda person who will over-celebrate an easy win and (for example) rub people on the head & trash talk them after they've just stuffed up. To me it's just unnecessary.

Self-centred Hayne Plane kinda cr@p is annoying too.

he's right up there. if not for suspension he would have been in the starting team for nsw. cancelling the world cup has dudded him of a green and gold jersey

bad that we had to copy that one off the raiders, I would of preferred the fletcher “hand grenade” if we couldn’t come up with our own.
