I like Gal, he was the only on the panel after the 2019 GF who wanted to give us credit and kept stating that Canberra couldn't and shouldn't blame the loss on the 6 again call. Thurston, Sterling and the rest of them kept coming back to that call and Gal shut them down and said they had over 30 tackles inside our 20, played against 12 men for 10 mins and still couldn't score, why were an extra 6 tackles going to make the difference. He earned my admiration after his efforts that night

[QUOTE=Johnny Tobin; Lol. What a surprise.

I dunno. Seems like the case against him so far here is pretty flimsy. The Fox formula is controversy first last and always anyway, you don't usually expect to hear much that is insightful. If he was biased it would be unsurprising that a father would want to even up for a son who was punted so unceremoniously after one season though, to my knowledge, the Club was never critical but it could not have been easy for that family.

You could put Gus Worland, Scott Cam and Nick Politis to commentate a game and still people wouldn't be satisfied with their commentary for not praising the Roosters enough.

I personally concentrate on the game and not what some commentator thinks.

                      Yeah he's fine.

                      I like Warren Smith's style.

Most ex coaches get a start at commentating with fox.
Nearly all end up getting boned.

His comments lack any real incision and alternative perspectives.
                            barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!
