The performance was good. Really liked what I saw from Smith, Crichton and Hutch. Goal kicking is a concern, one of Keighran or Smith needs to play if there’s any hope of converting the tries.

Fumbles Ikuvalu didnt disappoint with two dropped balls....the Cowboys kicked to him on 13 occasions...
and true to form he fumbled 2 high balls,.....putting the team under massive pressure
the first two tries the Cowboys scored were on Ikuvalu's side (the right)...he was nowhere to be seen
all NRL coaches have worked out that Fumbles is the weak link in Easts squad...the Roosters brains trust are oblivious for some reason
its no good scoring a try if you drop balls, miss tackles, knock on and generally stuff up
unfortunately Ikuvalu is not of first grade standard.....he has had major deficiencies since his debut in 2018...nothing has changed
Jack Gibson always picked the best 13 players available and fitted them in his team
is Ikuvalu one of the best 13 players available at the Roosters....hardly

Good that the sites back up I felt like a lost soul in a fish bowl without the game thread.
Some nice signs from some of the younger blokes with Billy Smith and Egan Butcher off the bench and Sam Walker provided some classy touches at the end.
Probably tells us where we are the last couple of weeks struggling over some of the lower teams after getting trounced by the premiership heavyweights.
I'm just happy to see the continued development of some up and comers.

Teddy, Manu, Toops, JWH, Rads, Crichton, Sitill, the Butcher brothers, Billy Smith, Suaalii, Verrills, Iku, SST, Baker plus probably a top signing & Collins, Walker, Keary. Pretty good top 18.

we were a lot better than last round that's for sure. I agree with Robbo that for the first time in a while we were grinding, and not trying to score on every play which is how we ended up leading by the end of the first half. Definitely there is room for improvement but after our last three rounds of footy this game was a step forwardEASTS TO WIN!
