Those games are every blue moon...week to week NRL grind is much tougher.
    Would Tonga beat the Storm?

Because the form he showed last year was at a different level, and I believe can be regained under Robbo in a team travelling well with less injury disruptions, which hopefully we get next year.
It has been since his rib injury early in the season. He was massive in the early parts

I reckon in the offseason that SST needs to do what Jared did last offseason and shed some kilo's. He bulked up to play in the Front Row but now the position requires more mobility in this hybrid oztag style of football. Lose 5-7kgs and he will get back a bit of speed, explosiveness and endurance.

I don’t think he could lose the talent but I think he’s lost the desire. He plays like he is in a team that can’t win anything. The opposite of Jarred.

Yes agreed mate, hence why I think with less injury disruptions and regular combinations next year SST will thrive!

In regards to Jared, what he has done so far this year is truly special..

I’ve heard a few supporters on here with the opinion SST is on his way out of the Club, but surely the next three years he would be hitting his prime and I’d be surprised if the Club let him go!

In regards to his injury, maybe it’s a good time for a rest..
Yes he was enormous in 2019. Like R6 said I think he has been carrying a rib problem for a while. I can’t see him being moved on.

heres the thing with sst. its presumed he's on around 600k. now if he's willing to take a paycut id for sure keep him. but his production has not been what his salary demands.

I’m always sus on minor hamstring strain injuries.
They are an easy way to rest a player for any amount of time, for any reason. Also the timing of injury (moving to Qld, did he go?) coupled with the vague recovery period makes me question it even more. All this combined with his form hints at maybe there being something else at hand.
Don’t be surprised to see him move on
                  ..it’ll be interesting to see

yep - there was video footage of him and robbo talking to each other yesterday as they came off the bus.

In his pre game interview Robbo gave an update on SST and how he had been dealing with a hamstring strain for about 6 weeks but continued to battle on because of our injury situation.

Heard on the grapevine that SST's injury is more than that. Has some social media hurdle, support for some protest march of some sort apparently.

Funny some in the media are suggesting he is back this week. Seems too soon.

Thanks Fletch. That would explain why he’s been down on form lately. Hopefully it also puts an end to the nasty rumours that he’s on the way out.

An anti vaccine post on twitter?

It was post encouraging people to attend an anti lockdown rally posted on his Instagram story actually.

I believe the official story that he is injured however, has look busted all season
