The amount of forward passes they actually let go these days is a joke. Yet, the one that was thrown later when we were attacking the dogs line wasn't even forward yet called.

Overscrutinized. But we won our first penalty count in 7 years so we can't mention the refs now for the next 5.

We are now the NRLs darling favourites.

The forward passes we get pinged for a 90% accurate
Just wish I could say that see such consistency in all the other games I watch .

        Exactly. 2 years ago.
Without pressure on positions, players dont improve.
Can we wait for him to improve? Wait for next year?

Its not just forward passes. What about incorrect play the balls.

I watched the souffs game on Friday night and was appalled how many times they simply roll the ball rather than play it with the foot or how they aren't facing the oppositions try line when playing the ball. There was one instance where the souffs player was facing the sideline and still got away with it! Its not just souffs but many teams. Us included sometimes but mostly we would be pulled up for it whereas other sides are not.

Well I would argue against the point “ we’re lacking cohesion at the moment “ as to why we are throwing them because like I mentioned in my initial post it has been an basic error of ours for quite some time now. I can remember Jake throwing at least a couple over the last few seasons.

Silly argument, It’s his primary job to pass the footy and if we simply allow complacency and the “odd”error as being okay we won’t improve. Compared to most other dummy halves we get pinged far more often and like some have said, could be pinged even more.

Tedesco has improved with no one putting pressure on his position. Luke Keary has improved with no one putting pressure on his position. That argument is rubbish, this is professional rugby league there is always pressure to perform.

Of course we can wait for a guy with less than 30 games to improve whilst he returns from serious injury, it's called being a development club something we have done so well recently and shouldn't be moving away from because we're emotional about how we're travelling at the moment.

Cam Smith threw more forward passes than any other dummy half I've ever seen, not sure you can say it was due to a systemic problem with the sid or a quality issue with the individual.

When you play as flat and fast as the best sides do you are constantly on the line. Unfortunately we're just getting called up on them too frequently at the moment and need to adjust.
