  • Hats off Nat

Well we missed him these last few weeks… 32 tackles and 164 meters off the bench in the middle, that’s the sort of stuff we expect from Nat because of his potential. Good effort.

The Butcher Boys stood up tonight. (Egan) Spengler will be a force in a year or so.

He cops a lot from some posters on here, but I’m a fan. Not all players can be the flashy type.

He doesn't get the kudos he deserves sometimes and in also one of those people who can criticise him because it may look like he isn't effective on the field however you can't fault stats and it's only once you look over his stats you realise just how much work he really gets through and also you rarely see the opposition able to tackle him to the ground or onto his back, he must be extremely strong.

Couple of good touches from young Egan tonight, a mate of mine who is a good judge tells me he has more upside than Nat.

Both Butcher brothers were good. Egan looks at home in first grade and we all know what Nat can do.

Turning into a real clubman, does whatever job the side needs of him.

He did today what Taukeiaho should’ve been doing despite having nowhere near the same level of ability to do so.

I rate him and I think he has more to his game than the role he is asked to play in NRL- i recall him having ball playing and offloading skills in under 20's

im always amazed when some say he isn't big enough.....the guy is 6ft and close to 100kg. Since when is that small? Paul Gallen was 5'9.5 .... its the motor that counts

Always punches out solid stats and I have always rated him despite the critics. There is a reason Robbo picks him over the other young blokes. Trust.

Always does a job. You need players in the squad like that. If I recall correctly his stint on the field during the 2019 grand final was when we were under the pump tackling ourselves to a standstill. For that alone he's a rooster for life.

I think with Liu moving on, Nat has an opportunity to make that vacated role in our squad his long term job.

Nothing against Nat or our bench/backup forwards and second rowers.... but is anyone else missing Maubs big time?

Nat did well. I just want to see him get angry.
