I would personally take that bet as I am not confident at all about tonight.

Hope I will be wrong but our completion rates these past two games is what is getting us flogged....... I will cheer tonight if we can complete three straight sets

Yeah not saying Bellamy is a shyte coach but IMO he's definitely given a much longer leash to play with than other coaches.

I liken his coaching style to being a series of 'hacks' that don't take a genius to think up but other coaches would think 'well you are not allowed to do that'. He reads the rules differently to others and the NRL always seems to side with his interpretation. Thus, there's this disruptive team from Mexico that always has 'perfect discipline' no matter what. There's great talent and skills in there too, but IMO their game would lose a lot of polish/discipline if refs called out some of their hacks & nit-picked them on 50:50 calls every time they looked like getting a bit of momentum. IMO such game management definitely impacts your style and confidence...

Is this a Brisbane-style fix where they've planned for us to lose? Critically analyse in 6000 words or less...

On a side note, a lazy $100 on the dogs means either way, you win tonight!

Maybe you're not a punter ( and that's a good thing!!) but what you say makes no sense. If the Bulldogs were paying say $6 or less you could be forgiven for thinking " why is the price so short-they should be $10 or more- what do the bookies know that we dont".

Bookies will blow out prices trying to attract punters to put money on whatever the bookie thinks WONT win.

The night they lost to the Broncos i think the Roosters went from $1.13 to $1.04- because took a stack of bets on the Roosters to win.....but if you were a bookie and you knew the Roosters were going to purposely lose then you have the price at $1.20 and try to attract as much money on them as you can.

you're sounding like a mug punter - how can i lose?

if the roosters win you lose your dough and if the roosters lose you're unhappy cos your team has lost

Nope. The Roosters win! Thats a win!

$100 pffft. Its either a good return on a small amount or a Roosters win. Either way, I am happy! A win on the field or a win in the account. Still no mug!

                              I don't mind a bet but at $1.05 a win I can't be bothered.
We will win easily and go on a winning spree maybe loosing 2-3 games before the finals, we will win week one but that's about it.
I don't think we are a chance to win the comp because of injuries.
